Meet the Team… Get to know Land Specialist, Josh Adams!

Josh Adams is our new Land Specialist. He handles land acquisitions and assists our customers with finding just the right lot. “I love the chase involved in finding land,” says Josh. “I enjoy working with people and building relationships, and finding creative ways to find lots and sell properties.”

As a newer member of the team, he has a unique perspective on working here. “It’s a great environment, and I’m fortunate to be a part of it! I’m looking forward to helping people find a place to spend their lives. I’m also excited about the fact that there’s a picture of Vanilla Ice that randomly appears somewhere in the office!”

Prior to joining Schaeffer Family Homes, Josh most recently worked as a sales associate for Berkshire Hathaway Fox & Roach, Realtors® selling resale residential homes, new construction, and land. Prior to joining BHHS, he worked for Atlantic Five Realty where he specialized in selling residential subdivisions to builders. He attended Moorestown Friends, and Rutgers Business – Camden.

Josh loves cooking and anything related to food. In fact, “there’s a good chance that food is going to come up in any conversation!” He also thinks that “golf is the greatest game ever made.” He loves Philly sports (Go Birds!), and competing in just about anything.

Fun Facts: He has made wine his entire life. And has done belly flops in the Mediterranean Sea.

Now Is the Time To Make Your Move!

As of April 1st, 2017, Schaeffer Family Homes will be taking a $4,000 price increase across the board on all our models in our communities, spot lots, and on your own lot. The reason is due to an increase in the cost of lumber. According to Eye on Housing, lumber costs have remained pretty steady since 2014. The price of lumber, from framing to structural panels has increased up to 30 percent in recent weeks.

Since this cost is something we can not avoid, our prices in turn have to go up. We wanted to make our customers aware so they can lock in the lower pricing NOW! How can you do this? Sign an agreement of sale by 4/15/17 and we will honor our lower pricing. This saves you $4,000. We will also take contingencies and lock in the pricing for up to 60 days.
