Starting with Thomas Schaeffer Sr., continuing through Thomas “Tim” Schaeffer Jr., and now guided by Jason Schaeffer, this dedicated clan has made homebuilding a true family affair.
Thomas Schaeffer Sr. learned the craft of woodworking in the Army during WWII and immediately put his new skills to work in the home building industry. His dedication laid the foundation for what would become a family tradition.
Tim Schaeffer Jr. worked alongside his father, honing his craft and building custom homes in Southern New Jersey. In 1989, Tim founded Tim Schaeffer Communities, continuing the family's dedication to quality homebuilding throughout the region.
Tim’s son, Jason Thomas Schaeffer, took his years of experience and is now shifting the company’s focus to “on your lot” building in South Jersey and at the Shore. Jason worked his way through the trades while attending high school, college, and graduate business school. Today, he continues the tradition as President of Schaeffer Family Homes, ensuring the family's legacy endures.
