Krista’s journey to Schaeffer Family Homes is as inspiring as her work. After graduating from the University of Scranton in 2015 with degrees in Broadcast Communication and Spanish, she began her career in television production in Philadelphia. While working as an associate producer, Krista realized she wanted a new challenge—and found her calling in real estate. In April 2018, Krista joined the Schaeffer team, coming full circle as she followed in her mom’s footsteps in the real estate world.
A Personal Touch in Homebuilding
Krista’s passion for helping people find their perfect homes is evident in everything she does. She’s particularly excited about the Carriage Mews community in Berlin Borough, where she lives in her own Schaeffer-built home. “It’s special to be part of the process of building a new home,” Krista says. “Buying a home is a big decision, and designing your own home makes it personal! I love taking a role in helping people find their dream home.”
When she’s not helping homeowners, Krista’s adventurous spirit shines. She stays active snowboarding, playing tennis, paddleboarding, and more. As a Philadelphia Flyers Ice Girl, she also shows her team spirit cheering on the Broad Street Bullies.
Krista’s compassion extends to her love for animals. She volunteers with Balanced Buddies Res-Q in West Berlin and dotes on her dog, Sully, her “absolute pride and joy.” Her dedication to both her work and her community makes Krista an invaluable part of the Schaeffer family.
